Gastric reduction surgery: A vanguard prosthesis is in place which can be tightened to surround the fundus of the stomach. This patient presented with symptoms of obstruction and one can see pills in the fundus of the stomach. The band may have been a little too tight.

DIEP Planning: 3-D rendering defining the inferior epigastric vessels in a patient where we do pre-operative planning for breast reconstructive surgery. The key of the study is to find the inferior epigastric arteries.

Inferior epigastric arteries: 3D Reconstruction for DIEP Block Surgery nicely showing the inferior epigastric arteries on the 3D map. This study is used for preoperative planning. Using CT to localize these vessels will save roughly 90 minutes out of a six-hour operation. The information is supplied by Dr. Rosson of Plastic Surgery at Hopkins.
